Do you offer a summer Vacation Scheme?
Yes, we do! The requirements to participate in the vacation scheme are:
- A final year Law student
- A recent Law graduate
- A passion for intellectual property, litigation, commercial, sports or trade marks.
This is a paid, 2 week long internship between June-September across both of our offices in London and Manchester. Please see our full careers page here to see our closing dates.
Do you offer work experience?
We offer a number of work experience opportunities between the months of Jan-May and October-November. These are one week and based in both London and Manchester. If you would like to apply, please send your CV and a cover letter to recruitment@brandsmiths.co.uk. Please note: we have an extremely high demand of people who would like to complete work experience with us, so we cannot guarantee that we can get back to everyone.
What is a clearance search?
Before registering a trade mark, we can conduct searches to see if any third parties have registered the same or similar trade marks who could potentially stop your use and registration. We can offer different levels of searches, depending on your budget. These types of searches are more detailed and encompassing, and can identify low, medium and high risk marks. We can also provide a fuller, more detailed, risk report and advice on how to mitigate the risks identified. A full clearance will take approximately 7-10 days from sign-off. If you would like searches done in additional territories such as the US, these will be at an additional fee per territory.
Is it easy to register my designs?
Yes, it is easy. Please reach out via our contact us form and we can assign one of our lawyers to help you to register your designs.
