Trainee Solicitor

Imani is a Trainee Solicitor who assists clients in both contentious and non-contentious matters with a strong focus on sport and intellectual property.

In intellectual property, Imani has been involved in brand protection work for a number of clients including Microsoft. Her non-contentious work includes drafting copyright assignments, advising on trade mark registration and how to develop and monetise a brand’s intellectual property rights.

In sport, she has assisted in regulatory matters such as anti-doping charges in front of Sports Resolutions. In football, Imani has assisted agents, players and clubs in defamation disputes, FA Rule K arbitration, transfers and the recovery of unpaid player’s salaries and agent’s fees.
