HAMISH MACINNES

Associate

Hamish is an Associate in the Commercial & Corporate department, though he also assists clients in commercial litigation. His corporate work includes managing acquisitions from the due diligence stage to completion and drafting and negotiating documents for corporate transactions. For the commercial team, Hamish works on a number of different tasks ranging from contract reviews and drafting to GDPR matters, such as privacy policies for websites.

In commercial litigation, he has assisted in multiple trials, producing bundles, drafting witness statements and doing costs budgets as well as negotiating settlements. Hamish also has experience in IP litigation and trade mark work.

Hamish first joined Brandsmiths as a Paralegal in December 2018 having previously worked in different sectors outside of law, most recently working in Saudi Arabia, before converting to Law in 2016.

Hamish speaks French, Arabic and Spanish.
