Brandsmiths encourages you to apply for our Vacation Scheme – a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in a leading IP-focused firm and gain firsthand insight into life at a specialist law firm.

What to Expect
Over two weeks in either our London or Manchester office, you will be exposed to a variety of practice areas and engage in meaningful, fee-earning work. Your experience could include:
- Attending client meetings and gaining insight into case strategy.
- Working on live cases, conducting legal research, and drafting documents.
- Shadowing a trainee solicitor to understand the transition from study to practice.
- Being assigned a mentor who will guide you throughout your time with us.

Beyond legal work, you’ll meet a wide range of professionals within the firm, gaining a deeper understanding of our culture and values. This experience could be a stepping stone towards securing a training contract with us.

Who can apply?
This opportunity is primarily for final-year university students, as we use this scheme to scout future hires. However, if you are not in your final year but believe you have the necessary experience and skills to contribute to our firm, we still encourage you to apply.
