Job Title: Front of House & Operations Assistant
Location: London
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM (Monday - Thursday based in office, Friday WFH)
Reports To: Executive Assistant to SLT
General Overview

The Front of House & Operations Assistant will be responsible for managing the firm's front-of-house operations, including reception, visitor management, phone-based enquiries and general office activities. This role will be the first point of contact for clients for Brandsmiths and act as a brand ambassador for the firm whilst providing a first class meet and greet.
This role will be working closely with the Executive Assistant to the SLT and have the opportunity to support with operational projects within the firm. This will include process improvement initiatives as part of our growth phase.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Welcoming clients who visit the firm and ensure their experience is professional and attentive
- Maintain the reception and common areas to a high standard of cleanliness and order
- Handle incoming calls, including taking and passing on precise messages
- Assist Executive Assistant to the SLT in any coordination required for projects or events
- Organise hospitality for the wider team and firm (including birthday lunches and socials)
- Dealing with deliveries and couriers
- Opening and distributing post
- Day-to-day management of firm’s inquiries and recruitment email accounts, forwarding accordingly and keeping records
- Ensuring daily operations are monitored within the office (printer maintenance, stationary requirements, office consumables)
- Help maintain compliance with office procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements
- Provide general administrative support to legal and support teams
- Support onboarding for new joiners, including access arrangements
- Upload transactions of purchases made, with receipts and VAT invoices
