Brandsmiths has acquired the UK business of Sipara, the specialist IP practice founded by Rebecca Kaye and Robert Furneaux. The team will continue operating under its established name for the immediate future, now supported by Brandsmiths' wider specialist capability.

Rebecca is a dual-qualified solicitor and chartered trade mark attorney who co-founded Sipara in 2010. Rebecca's practice covers the full range of IP and her goal is to work with clients to ensure their IP portfolios, policies and practices enhance and support their business goals.

Robert Furneaux
Director
Robert has worked across IP since 1993, handling both disputes and advisory work. He specialises in managing trade mark and design portfolios and has acted before the UK and EU IP offices, including appeals to the European General Court. He brings deep insight into retail, FMCG, entertainment, publishing and pharma, with strong knowledge of IP across Asia and the Middle East.
