The latest launch of the Chambers & Partners UK 2027 Guide gives us lots to celebrate.

The firm has moved up the rankings for another year running, with strong progress for both our departments and individuals.  

These results are only possible because of the dedication of our Brandsmiths team to our clients, and they show how we’re paving the way to becoming the UK’s leading IP law firm.

Key successes in the rankings

- Our trade marks, copyright and designs team moved from ‘Spotlight’ within the Intellectual Property: Law Firms with Patent & Trade Mark Attorneys category straight to Band 1 in just one year! This is the first time the firm has achieved Band 1!
- Our Intellectual Property practice in London moved from Band 4 to Band 3
- Our North West Intellectual Property practice moved from Band 3 to Band 2
- Our Litigation practice in the North West gained a Band 5 ranking for the first time

Spotlight on leading individuals

Alongside firm rankings, the 2027 guide recognised our top talent:

- Andrew Lee retained Band 2 for Intellectual Property
- Michael Forrester moved from Band 3 to Band 2 in Intellectual Property

These incredible achievements demonstrate our investment in high-quality talent, our deep expertise and strong results for our clients. It’s great to move up the bands year-on-year, showing our growth as a firm.
